Millwood Inc. Announces Relocation of Nashville Area Facility
Industry Leader Expands Tennessee Manufacturing Site - Part of Growing U.S. Network of Wood Pallet and 3PL Warehousing Facilities

Nashville, Tennessee, December 15, 2008 – On November 1, 2008 Millwood, Inc., a Girard, Ohio based industry leader and innovator of unit load and packaging products and services, completed the recent relocation of their Nashville (La Vergne), Tennessee facility to a new, larger facility within three miles of their former location.

Millwood, Inc. operates sawmills and 22 engineering and manufacturing facility throughout the United States.  These facilities provide new, reconditioned and recycled pallets, material handling equipment, packaging systems and support services to customers in a broad line of manufacturing, distribution and end-user industries.

The new facility will continue its focus on wood pallets and third party logistics (3PL) warehousing operations, and has permitted Millwood to expand an already wide range of products services that have earned the company a “one-stop connection” reputation for pallet management, packaging and logistics solutions.

According to Ron Ringness, Millwood Executive V.P., Sales, Marketing & Technology, “the recent move to the more expansive facility will permit the company to focus on our customers who now require smaller, more flexible warehouse space and 3PL operations.  The new building provides expanded opportunities to custom tailor all of our operations to individual customer needs.”

The new LaVergne facility is managed by a team of long serving logistics professionals including Jimmy French, Plant Manager; Galen Miller, General Manager; Dan McCollum, Sales Manager, Joe Commodore, Warehouse Sales and Tina Garrison, Plant Administrator.

Boardman, Ohio, December 12, 2008 –Millwood Inc., a Girard, Ohio-based industry leader and innovator of unit load and packaging products and services, announces an expansion of their Liberty Technologies Boardman, Ohio manufacturing facility.

Liberty Technologies, a Millwood Inc. company, has created a unique selection of diversified packaging/material handling equipment for their customers throughout the world. By combining industry knowledge with creative engineering experience and a wide variety of products supported by timely service, Liberty is able to fulfill customer demands as a "One Stop Connection" supplier.

According to Rich Evick, Senior V.P. of Liberty Technologies, “This expansion provides the floor space and additional capacity for manufacturing material handling and pallet sorting systems.  Specifically, Liberty Technologies can now incorporate both an electrical panel and precision machine shop providing for greater testing flexibility and maintaining inventory of finished product. The new space provides expanded opportunities to custom tailor all of our operations to individual customer needs, and allows for the simultaneous production of multiple projects.”
