Millwood Cares is a program created to support our team members’ spiritual and personal growth. Our commitment is to advance projects that assist team members in times of need, strengthen our local communities, provide professional and personal development opportunities, promote healthy lifestyles through wellness programs and offer spiritual support for our team members and their families.
Millwood’s chaplains provide personal and confidential care for team members at every location. Through regular visits and everyday conversations, they build relationships, offer encouragement and walk with individuals through both routine challenges and difficult seasons. Their presence helps create a culture where people feel valued and supported. We are committed to helping each team member grow spiritually, personally and professionally, and our chaplains play a vital role in that mission.
When someone needs additional support, our chaplains offer personal coaching and connect team members with trusted counseling resources in their community. Their role is to ensure every individual has a clear path to the care they need. By supporting the whole person, our chaplains strengthen both the well-being of our team members and the health of the Millwood family as a whole.
Millwood’s mission is that all who come in contact with our company would clearly see the love of Christ in all that we do, and trips like this one and organizations like Operation Blessing allow us to show that love in a practical way to those who need it most. We give God the glory for the opportunity to shine His light and spread hope to those who experience devastation.
For the past several years, Millwood Cares has offered marriage retreats and luncheons to help team members strengthen their relationships at home. These faith-based events place a Christ-centered focus on the importance of marriage and family, giving couples simple opportunities to reflect, reconnect and encourage one another.
Across every location, team members described the gatherings as uplifting and meaningful. From shared meals to guided conversations and prayer, each event created space for couples to grow together. Millwood Cares plans to continue these efforts because strong families strengthen the entire Millwood community.
Millwood’s heart is to provide opportunities for children of all ages to experience the great outdoors with new adventures through a life changing camp experience.
Beginning in Ohio, Millwood Inc. has sponsored accredited “Youth Camps” since 2000. Through the efforts of many, our camp borders have expanded throughout the company and into many other states. Each youth camp stands on their own merits, nestled in the woods, while giving many youth the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. Campers grow, explore and form lasting friendships from all walks of life.
Our camp programs are designed in the best interest of both the younger child, as well as the teen. Camp activities vary, including waterfront activities, horseback riding, archery, challenge courses, crafts and tons of fun! All the camps provide a morally based Christian atmosphere where the youth learn important values and valuable lifetime lessons.
