Our mission is that everyone who comes in contact with Millwood clearly sees the love of Christ in all we do. This is our aim in every facet of our business. From the way we serve our clients, to the values we have cultivated among our 2,000+ team members, we want Jesus to be at the center of it all so that He will be glorified and so the good news of His love will spread to those we come in contact with.
At Millwood, cultivating a culture of perfect stewardship means caring for the well being of our people, designing our products with sustainability in mind and protecting the planet we all share. Stewardship is more than a business principle, it is the way we work and live together. Work is more than a transaction, it is where relationships are built, lives shaped and communities strengthened. Our mission is that everyone who comes in contact with Millwood clearly sees the love of Christ in all we do (Colossians 3:23).
Cultivating life together means walking side by side. From our chaplain program to local plant initiatives, we are intentional about creating spaces where people can be heard, supported and uplifted. Whether through prayer, mentoring or acts of service, we want each person to know they belong to something bigger than themselves. When people feel safe, respected and cared for, they bring their best to the work they do, and that excellence flows out to our customers and partners.
We also believe that stewardship extends beyond the walls of our facilities. Our plants and service teams are embedded in communities across the nation, and we actively encourage team members to serve and invest in those neighborhoods. From volunteering to support local families to partnering with organizations that meet pressing needs, we seek to be good neighbors who embody integrity, generosity and compassion (Matthew 5:16).
Perfect stewardship calls us to cultivate not only the lives of individuals, but also the life of creation itself. We view sustainability as an act of care for future generations. By recycling millions of pallets, engineering reusable solutions and reducing waste in the supply chain, we participate in preserving the resources entrusted to us (Genesis 2:15). Our responsibility to the planet mirrors our responsibility to people, both deserve to be stewarded with diligence and respect.
Ultimately, cultivating life together is about reflecting the love of Christ in practical ways. It means choosing people over profits, designing products that serve with excellence and protecting the planet with wisdom. In every relationship, every product and every decision, we aim to grow something lasting, a culture where life flourishes and stewardship is lived out daily.
We foster safety, growth and belonging by caring for the whole person, creating an environment where every team member can thrive at work, at home and in life.
From planning and sourcing through production and delivery, we are committed to doing everything we can to manufacture our products sustainably and responsibly.
The preservation of our planet is important to us. We live out this value by helping companies reuse and recycle, planting more trees than we use, etc.
In addition to the local chaplains that serve at each Millwood operated location, there is also an Outreach Pastor, Carmine Azzato, that functions as a traveling team evangelist. Carmine is able to vist the Millwood locations and share the good news of Jesus with Millwood Team Members. Often, he shares the story of how he gave his life to Jesus, before extending an invitation for people to give their lives to Jesus. We thank God for the hundreds of people that have responded to that invitation and are committed to seeing each one grow in their relationship with the Lord.
At several Millwood locations, team members have the opportunity to join voluntary Bible studies that create space for spiritual growth and community. These gatherings range from weekly lunchtime studies with simple meals to more intimate small-group settings where team members read Scripture, discuss life and encourage one another. Many describe these moments as a peaceful break from the workday and a source of strength for the week, helping them grow in their walk with Jesus as they share life together.
At Millwood, when we talk about being a Christ-centered company, we’re not pointing to an abstract idea or a distant tradition. We’re pointing to a person. Jesus is alive. He is not just a figure from history or the center of a religion — He is a living Savior who knows us, loves us, and wants real relationship with each one of us.
That belief is at the very heart of who we are and why we serve the way we do.
From the beginning, God’s desire has been relationship. Not rules. Not rituals. Relationship.
But all of us know what it feels like when something gets in the way — when mistakes, failures, or even shame create distance. The Bible calls that distance sin. It’s what separates us from the God who loves us.
God’s answer wasn’t to leave us in that place or demand that we find our way back. His answer was love in action: He sent Jesus.
Jesus lived the kind of life we could never live — one of perfect love, obedience and healing. But instead of keeping that for Himself, He offered His life for ours.
On the cross, He took on the weight of our sin, sickness and brokenness.
In His death and burial, He entered into the deepest places of human suffering.
In His resurrection, He broke the power of sin and death once and for all.
This is not just a story from long ago. It’s the turning point of human history — and it changes our personal story too.
Because of Jesus, forgiveness is not something we try to earn — it’s a gift freely offered.
And forgiveness is only the beginning. Jesus restores us to relationship with God, filling our lives with hope, peace, and purpose that cannot be shaken.
When we welcome Him as the leader of our lives, we begin to discover what we were made for:
A life of freedom, not shame.
A life of love, not fear.
A life that overflows to others, not just ourselves.
For us, following Jesus is not just a private belief. It’s the reason we serve, the reason we work with integrity, and the reason we value people above everything else. Many of our team members can tell you how Jesus has changed their lives — bringing healing, purpose, and joy in ways they never expected.
Their stories are as different as they are, but each one points back to the same truth: Jesus is real, and His love transforms lives.
The message of Jesus is not complicated. It’s not about joining a religion. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about saying yes to the One who already said yes to us.
You can begin right where you are:
Acknowledge your need for Him (Romans 10:9–10).
Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you (1 Corinthians 15:3–5).
Welcome Him to lead your life, day by day (Luke 9:23).
That step of trust opens the door to the relationship you were created for.
God’s Love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” (John 3:16)
Forgiveness: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us…” (1 John 1:9)
New Life: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come…” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Peace and Rest: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
We would love to walk alongside you as you explore what it means to know Jesus.
