As Regional Customer Manager for the Tennessee Valley region, Laura Philbin plays a key role in supporting customers and ensuring Millwood’s operations run smoothly across her territory. In her role, she works closely with Team Members, suppliers and customers to strengthen relationships, improve communication and develop processes that drive long-term success. Her focus is on service, collaboration and consistency — values that reflect both her personal approach and Millwood’s mission.
Laura’s path to Millwood began over 15 years ago when she was seeking a career that offered a better schedule and long-term growth opportunities after working in retail. A chance introduction through a Team Member’s spouse led her to Millwood, and she quickly discovered a company that aligned with her values and goals.
During her time at Millwood, Laura has held several roles, including Customer Service Manager and Sourcing Manager, before stepping into her current position as Regional Customer Manager. Each position has allowed her to grow professionally and deepen her understanding of how Millwood serves both its Team Members and customers.
“I love supporting my team and finding ways to improve processes and communication,” she says.
For Laura, what sets Millwood apart is the strength of its culture.
“Our Pillars and our Sales Team are driven to make sure we are meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers,” she explains. “Having great relationships with our customers and suppliers is key to our success.”
Laura strives to lead with integrity and trust, believing that reliability and honesty are the foundation of strong leadership.
“Being a reliable person of your word and demonstrating those values to others is what I strive to do,” she says — a philosophy that guides how she serves her team, her customers and Millwood’s mission every day.
