Chris Hutchens serves as Director of Crating Operations, where he leads the implementation and growth of crating solutions across Millwood’s operations. In this role, he focuses on building scalable processes, strengthening team capabilities and ensuring customers receive thoughtful, high-value solutions tailored to their needs.

Chris brings more than two decades of experience in operations, beginning his career 21 years ago with a prior company. He started in the field as a Superintendent and steadily advanced through operational management roles within manufacturing facilities. Along the way, he developed a deep appreciation for data-driven decision making, continuous improvement and mentoring future leaders. His passion for learning and developing others continues to shape his leadership approach today.

He is especially energized by custom crating opportunities, where he can help customers solve complex challenges through value engineering and creative problem solving. Chris takes pride in equipping both sales and operations teams with the tools and knowledge to deliver solutions customers may not have realized were possible.

Millwood’s faith-based mission strongly resonates with Chris. He believes the company genuinely lives out its core values of trust, servitude, discipleship and integrity, making it a place where he is proud to contribute and help drive growth.

As a leader, Chris emphasizes resilient, fact-based management and believes in recognizing individual strengths while creating opportunities for growth. He is passionate about guiding team members toward success and fostering a culture where people can thrive.

Outside of work, Chris is deeply committed to his family. He and his wife, Celeste, have found great joy in raising their children together. He has also spent over 20 years actively involved in his community, coaching youth sports including fast pitch softball, baseball and football, and serving as Executive Treasurer for local athletic organizations. Looking ahead, Chris is excited to continue supporting both Millwood and the communities it serves.
