Vienna, Ohio | July 23, 2026 –Local and state leaders received a firsthand look at advanced manufacturing and supply chain innovation on July 17 as Millwood, Inc. and its sister company, Litco International, welcomed guests as part of the Lordstown Economic Development Tour hosted by the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau.
The tour brought together elected officials, economic development professionals and business leaders from across the State of Ohio and Mahoning Valley to explore how two family-owned, locally operated manufacturers are supporting businesses throughout Trumbull County and North America while continuing to invest in the region.
The morning began at Litco’s Lordstown manufacturing facility, where guests toured the company’s custom crating operation and learned how wooden shipping crates are designed and built to protect products in transit—from standard shipments to large, complex and oversized loads.

In 2023, Litco’s first year manufacturing crates, they produced under 100 crates. That number jumped to more than 5,000 in 2025, and the Team expects to surpass that number in 2026.
The group then made their way to Millwood’s Lordstown operation, which sits behind the Litco operation for a behind-the-scenes look at the company’s manufacturing process for corner board and its CORE branded products, including silt sock mesh.
The mesh is manufactured in Lordstown and used to manufacture the CORE-branded silt sock at Millwood’s Vienna, Ohio operation. The visit highlighted how, together, Millwood and Litco develop sustainable packaging and environmental solutions that serve customers throughout North America.
The economic development tour provides an opportunity for community leaders to experience local industries firsthand while learning about the companies driving investment, job creation and economic growth throughout Trumbull County.
“More people in the Valley are getting to know our names, but they don’t always realize the scope of products we manufacture or the role our Team Members play in supporting businesses here locally and across North America,” said Lionel Trebilcock, Millwood Senior VP of Operations. “We’re proud to call Trumbull County home and appreciate the opportunity to showcase the work being done here.”
Throughout the tour, guests learned about the companies’ commitment to sustainability and explored how Millwood and Litco partner with customers to solve complex packaging, shipping and environmental challenges.
“Our success has always been rooted in serving others—our customers, our Team Members and our communities,” said Nick Gallo, Litco General Manager. “Events like this help strengthen relationships with community leaders while highlighting the importance of manufacturing to the economic vitality of our region.”
Millwood and Litco employ hundreds of Team Members throughout Ohio and operate manufacturing and service facilities across the continental United States. Together, the companies continue to invest in innovative products, sustainable manufacturing practices and workforce development while supporting a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, distribution, construction and consumer goods.
“We’re grateful to the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau for organizing another outstanding economic tour,” Trebilcock said. “Creating opportunities for business leaders and public officials to experience local manufacturing firsthand helps build a stronger understanding of the industries that contribute to the continued growth of Trumbull County.”
