Wes Williams serves as Sourcing Manager for the state of Texas, where he works closely with Millwood’s Sales and Operations Teams as well as vendor partners across the region. His responsibilities include sourcing pallets, negotiating pricing, qualifying mills, resolving quality and service issues and maintaining index-based lumber and pallet pricing data. By providing accurate market information and dependable supplier relationships, Wes helps ensure Millwood’s customers receive competitive, high-quality solutions that support their business needs.

Before joining the pallet and lumber industry, Wes built his career as a Sales Manager for a large coffee distribution company. While the role was rewarding, it required extensive travel, often keeping him away from home three to four days each week. As he and his wife raised their two young sons, he began looking for an opportunity that would allow him to spend more time with his family. Through a connection with a sawmill and pallet manufacturer, he was introduced to the industry. After thoughtful conversations with his wife and prayerful consideration, Wes made the career change, a decision he considers one of the most rewarding of his professional and personal life.

The aspect of Millwood that resonates most with Wes is its commitment to strong core values and the genuine character of its people. He appreciates working alongside what he describes as “salt of the earth” individuals who are committed to doing the right thing, building lasting relationships and serving customers with integrity.

Wes primarily supports the Sales Team as they serve a wide range of customers, from family-owned businesses to large manufacturing and distribution organizations with multiple locations. His goal is to provide the market intelligence and sourcing support needed to help deliver practical solutions across many industries.
