Millwood Joins in Fellowship for 12th Annual Gathering
On Tuesday, May 7, Millwood continued its annual tradition of gathering in fellowship at Faith Family Church for the 12th Millwood Gathering. Each year, this event puts the spotlight on Christ’s love and His influence on all we do at Millwood.
The Gathering is highly anticipated by our team members as a special opportunity to highlight God’s work at Millwood and beyond.
The event kicked off with prayer led by Director of Mission Fulfillment Frank Hyatt and a motivating word by Co-President/Partner Steve Miller followed by praise and worship.
Steve spoke about the vision of Millwood and highlighted other faith-based organizations that have similar missions as Millwood, that all who come in contact with our company would clearly see the love of Christ in all that we do.
This year’s keynote speaker was Outreach Evangelist Carmine Azzato. Carmine leads Hitting the Pavement ministries, whose mission is to ignite the Holy Spirit within people and help lead all God’s children to His light. Carmine, who is also now a Millwood team member, delivered an inspiring talk on his journey to Christ.
Carmine concluded his speech with a salvation call where three team members gave their lives to Christ.
Following Carmine’s speech, Steve and Carmine answered questions from team member during a special Q&A session, followed by an update on Millwood’s chaplain ministries from Jason Allen Regional Chaplain Coordinator Jody Jones.
The afternoon closed with a message from Carmine.
Millwood is thankful to God for the success of another annual Gathering in His name.
